Argyle Card

I needed to make a "male-ish" birthday card today.
Argyle is cut from Wild Card cartridge. I used Recollections metallic card stock to cut it. Behind the argyle cut is card stock mat that I embossed with "Diamonds In The Rough" Cuttlebug folder.
I thought at first that the card is gonna to be bit boring, but I like how it turned out

Black and Cream Card

Here is what I made today. I had NO idea what I'm gonna do but I wanted to try to make a "Tri-Shutter Card". This is what I ended up with. Paper is from DCWV La Creme stack. For front embellishment I cut a circle from Mini Monograms and layered acetate cut on top of it. On top of that I put one of my Lace Ribbon Flowers and stuck some feathers behind it. Key is Tim Holtz key. I can't remember where the metallic embellishment plate comes from. My guess is Making Memories, but don't quote me on that.

I'm very happy with my card.  Definitely making more these. This one goes for a friend to congratulate her for her birthday and new business.

My First Cricut Card

I thought I share with you my VERY first card made with my Cricut. Daffodil is cut from Walk In my Garden cartridge. Piece where the ribbon is attached looks like a border punch, but... to be honest, I can't remember.
On a side note; the flower is attached with a "ZOTS" glue dot, and I guess it's true that they never dry... Mine is still very "stickable'.

Giveaway Goodies

I have received a needed information from my giveaway winner Ladybug, and I will be mailing out her goodies on Monday.
Ladybug asked for a hint, wondering what she has won. I was gonna keep it as a surprise, and post a picture after winner receives the package, but since  the winner herself asked, and you can't really figure out everything from the picture, here it is...

One Year Blog Anniversary Giveway Winner!

Thank You all so much for your comments. It's greatly appreciated.
I was gonna do this bit earlier, but I went out and got stuck buying buttons... I managed to make all time "personal receipt length record". I walked out of the store with 86" long receipt.

Anyways, There was very manageable amount of entries, so I put all the entry names in the bowl. My husband drew the winner and I did the drum roll.
And the winner is:

Ladybug

Congratulations! I will be contacting you soon.
